Residents were stunned when they heard a ‘thud’ on the roof of their Fresno, California apartment block at 1.30 a.m. – and looked outside to see a car parked there.

The driver, who allegedly stole the car from a nearby house, was speeding in foggy conditions when he hit the curb and some rocks, launching the vehicle 20 feet into the air.

The car miraculously landed on the sloped roof of the apartment block, where it came to a standstill.

‘I thought it was an earthquake. I heard the house moving,’ Jeanell Ricks, who was inside the block, told CBS News.

Hello everyone. Thanks so much for tuning into the show. I’m Dana Ward and today on ClevverTV, we’re talking about a news story related to Twilight that just hit the public. Literally. A 18-year-old girl reportedly crashed her car — she’s uninjured, don’t worry — around midnight just days after the Breaking Dawn Part One premiere. The reason this is all related is because the teen blamed this on her boyfriend who was supposed to take her to see the new Twilight movie… all according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The report also said police said she was “extremely intoxicated,” thus she’s charged with driving under the influence and drinking underage, ultimately being released on a 300-dollar bond. Obviously, there is absolutely no excuse to act like this and the girl could have injured other people by acting so irresponsibly, but we’re happy to hear that she’s okay. This is definitely a unique story about the BDP1 premiere and we want to hear if you had anything out-of-the-ordinary happen on your way to see the film or if you’ve been overwhelmed at all by the debut.
