WAS Whitney Houston MURDERED SUICIDE or DRUG OVERDOSE DEAD AT 48?
February 11, 2012: MediaTakeOut.com just learned that Whitney Houston DIED this afternoon. Early reports are that Whitney may have died of a drug overdose, and possibly a suicide!!!
We just got word that Whitney was found by her bodyguard named RAY. Despite earlier reports, Ray J was NOT WITH HER when she died.

It’s assumed that Whitney Houston *COULD HAVE* died of drug related causes, but it is not clear at this time.
Whitney Houston was well known for abusing drugs, and admitted this in the early 2000′s. She used marijuana laced with cocaine, which caused her behavior to be reported as erratic.

Bottles of prescription drugs were found in the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel room where Whitney Houston’s lifeless body was discovered Saturday afternoon just hours before a huge Grammy party she was to attend, a report says.
Police discovered “various pill bottles” in Houston’s room, TMZ reported, adding that family members said Houston had been taking the prescription drug Xanax, which is often used to treat anxiety. When combined with alcohol, Xanax can cause drowsiness. Houston was reportedly found in her bathtub — TMZ says her head was underwater — and could not be revived by paramedics after being removed from the tub.
No alcohol was found in the preliminary sweep of Houston’s room, TMZ reports, but there were multiple reports that Houston had been drinking with friends the night before at the hotel.

Whitney Houston was found dead in the Beverly Hills hotel by Ray J.
Prescription drugs were found in the hotel room but no illegal drugs have been discovered in the Beverly Hills hotel room where Whitney Houston, 48, died, TMZ has revealed. The autospy will determine whether Houston overdosed, drowned or died from some other cause, TMZ sources revealed. It is believed Houston’s body was removed from the bathtub before emergency workers arrived at her hotel room.
Emergency services were called to the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills by a member of the pop star’s entourage at 3:23pm local time yesterday and arrived two minutes later, police said.
Resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful.
“At 3:55pm, Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel,” Beverly Hills Police Department Lt. Mark Rosen told reporters at a press conference, adding that the cause of death was still being investigated.
The superstar singer and actress’s publicist, Kristin Foster, broke the news of Houston’s passing to the AP, but thus far, no cause of death has been revealed. In recent years, she struggled with drug abuse.
Her self-titled debut album, released in 1985, sold 25 million copies worldwide. In total, she released seven albums and three film soundtracks; a winner of six Grammys, Houston sold over 170 million albums and singles worldwide. She earned 30 Billboard Awards, 22 American Music Awards and 2 Emmy Awards. She starred in three films, beginning with 1992′s “Waiting to Exhale,” and was due to star in her big screen comeback later this year, a remake of the film “Sparkle.”
She is survived by daughter Bobbi Kristina and ex-husband Bobby Brown. Theirs was a tumultuous marriage, marred by drugs, and ended in 2007. She spent time in rehabilitation for her drug problems, most recently in May 2011.

LOS ANGELES – Legendary pop singer Whitney Houston has died/dead at age 48, representative Kristen Foster said Saturday night.
The entertainer was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. (6:55 p.m. ET) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel despite resuscitation efforts, a police spokesman said.
The cause and location of her death was not immediately known.
According to her official website, Houston, who struggled with addiction problems over the years, sold more than 170 million albums, singles and videos over her career.
Houston was set to appear in this year’s “Sparkle,” a remake of the 1976 hit, which was loosely based on the story of The Supremes. It was her first movie role since 1996′s “The Preacher’s Wife.”
News of her death elicited a flood of reaction on social media, from fans and fellow celebrities alike.
Whitney Houston seemed ‘in good spirits’
Music producer Russell Simmons wrote he was “deeply saddened by the death of Whitney Houston,” while singer Gloria Estefan said she was “shocked we’ve lost the immensely talented” entertainer.
Houston’s body of work includes seven straight Billboard No. 1 hits in the 1980s, including “Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” “Greatest Love of All” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go.”
Billboard put her soundtrack to the movie “The Bodyguard” as one of the top 10 biggest-selling albums of all time. She also starred in the film.
The daughter of singer Cissy Houston, Whitney was born on August 9, 1963, in Newark, New Jersey. Famed music producer Clive Davis reportedly spotted Houston 20 years later in a New York nightclub, signing her on the spot, according to her website.
The singer’s rendition of the national anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl, days into the first Persian Gulf War, earned raves and cemented her place in the American musical landscape.
After “The Bodyguard,” Houston went on to appear in several more films in the 1990s, including “Waiting to Exhale.”
In 2000, Houston earned her sixth Grammy for best female R&B performance and, a month later, she was named female artist of the decade at the “Soul Train” Music Awards. Houston died on the eve of this year’s Grammy Awards.
Her career stalled, however, in subsequent years as she entered rehab for addiction problems.
In May 2011, Houston got help for her much-publicized struggle with drugs and alcohol, her representative said at the time.
In a 2009 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Houston recalled how her mother arrived one day at her doorstep at her daughter’s house with sheriff’s officers and a court order in a drug intervention. She talked about doing cocaine and smoking marijuana.
“(My mother) says, ‘I have a court (injunction) here,” Houston said. “Either you do it my way, or we’re just not going to do this at all. We are both going to go on TV, and you’re going to retire.’”
Houston had a high-profile and tumultuous marriage to Bobby Brown, a former “New Edition” star who has had multiple brushes with the law. The couple appeared together in the mid-2000s on the reality show “Being Bobby Brown.”
Producer Clive Davis steered Houston’s career for more than 25 years, also serving as a mentor.
