I got in trouble with the police for drinking underage in Nevada, do you think my school will find out?

I live in California. I got in trouble previously in my high school by overdosing on household medication due to depression. I was placed under arrest, put on probation, and all that jazz. My school said if I get in trouble for using any other illegal substances, they will expel me from school.

Well a few days ago, I went to a party in Nevada. The police came and they gave me a ticket.I have to go to court Friday. Do you think they will tell my school?

the school cant expel you for some thing you dident do at school so it dont matter if thay know or not

After Viagara worked they came up with these new drugs?

With Viagra such a hit, Pfizer is bringing forth a whole line of drugs oriented towards improving the performance of men in today’s society…

DIRECTRA — a dose of this drug given to men before leaving on car trips caused 72 percent of them to stop and ask directions when they got lost, compared to a control group of 0.2 percent.

PROJECTRA — Men given this experimental new drug were far more likely to actually finish a household repair project before starting a new one.

CHILDAGRA — Men taking this drug reported a sudden, overwhelming urge to perform more child-care tasks — especially cleaning up spills and "little" accidents.

COMPLIMENTRA — In clinical trials, 82 percent of middle-aged men administered this drug noticed that their wives had a new hairstyle. Currently being tested to see if its effects extend to noticing new clothing.

BUYAGRA — Married and otherwise attached men reported a sudden urge to buy their sweeties expensive jewelry and gifts after talking this drug for only two days. Still to be ascertained: Whether the drug can be continued for a period longer than your favorite store’s return limit.

NEGA-VIAGRA — Has the exact opposite effect of Viagra. Currently undergoing clinical trials on sitting U.S. presidents.

NEGA-SPORTAGRA — This drug had the strange effect of making men want to turn off televised sports and actually converse with other family members.

FLATULAGRA — This complex drug converts men’s noxious intestinal gases back into food solids. Special bonus: Dosage can be doubled for long car rides.

FLYAGRA — This drug has been showing great promise in treating men with O.F.D. (Open Fly Disorder). Especially useful for men on Viagra.

PRYAGRA — About to fail its clinical trial, this drug gave men in the test group an irresistible urge to dig into the personal affairs of other people. Note: Apparent overdose turned three test subjects into "special prosecutors."

LIAGRA — This drug causes men to be less than truthful when being asked about their sexual affairs. Will be available in Regular, Grand Jury and Presidential Strength versions.

Hahaaaaaaa

Jim, did you hear that thieves broken into a pharmacy yesterday and the only thing they took was Viagra!….
Police are looking for a bunch of hardened criminals.

Suicide essay part two, please read and tell me what you think?

III. Suicide: Why Do People Do It?
It is hard to imagine the reasons in which children decide to take their own lives, but these reasons could help people, mostly parents, find out what is going on in a child’s mind that would lead them to suicide. One reason a child commits suicide is so they could be with a dead parent or dead pet they were very close to. The problem with this, however, is that children are too young to realize how permanent death really is and research shows that young children think they could die, visit their loved ones, and come back to Earth like they see in their favorite cartoons. (II.a.1.6.) Another reason children commit suicide is to escape their abusive parents or because of the lack of love received from their parents. (II.a.2.7.) Children may also overdose on a household medicine just to scare their parents so much that the parents will start taking better care of them, but they instead end up dead because they took too many pills and could not be
saved in time. The final critical reason for child suicide seems to be a bit out of our hands because some children who are born from a sick mother or who had a traumatic birth are at a greater risk of committing suicide than anyone else. (II.a.3.10.) It would appear that maybe Mother Nature, as one researcher states, had intended for these saved babies to have died at birth and because they were saved, they die at a younger age to keep the balance in nature.
Teens are another group of people who commit suicide for various reasons that seem to be unknown or even absurd to those around them. One such reason that seems to be very common among teenagers is that they have an unhappy personal life. This reason seems more illogical than the reasons for child suicide, but teenagers are very dramatic and sadly feel that they will never have friends and kill themselves thinking they will always have a miserable and sad life. (II.b.1.1.) Another reason for teen suicide also seems to be out of
our control because some of them have mental problems and go crazy one day and commit suicide. There are many different mental disorders that can cause people to fall to suicide, but schizophrenia is one of the more severe disorders. (II.b.2.14.) The final problem that can influence many teenagers because of how popular it is to that age group is drugs. Hardcore drugs and alcohol can lead to an overdose that can lead to teen suicide because teens do not know when to stop, but another factor that teens do not seem to notice is that drugs and alcohol are depressants. (II.b.3.11.) It is sometimes hard to tell if the death from overdose was intentional or not, but it is a very easy way for suicidal teenagers to kill themselves.
Students are the final group that commits suicide because of problems they had that could have been solved but were instead ended by suicide. One reason that everyone can relate to is how much stress college students have because of how hard and how demanding
college is. This stress can cause some students to become suicidal because they feel that college is too hard for them but the demands made on them by society and their family causes them to commit suicide rather than be seen as a failure. (II.c.1.3.) Another factor that research shows that causes student suicide is when a student gets lower grades than what they wanted or were supposed to get. Students can sometimes be so hard on themselves that when they do not get the grades they wanted, they feel unworthy of the education they are getting at the expensive university they are going to that they kill themselves. Students may also be pressured by family members or scholarship programs that when they do not get the grades they needed the end up committing suicide rather than deal with the repercussions of their grades. Another problem that college students face is becoming an alcoholic, which is very easy to do when there is a party every night in college. (II.c.3.13) Because of this
factor, students who drink too much can become alcoholics, which can lead them to suicide.

i only read the first two paragraphs, but it sounds alright.

suicide essay part two complete, tell me what you think?

III. Suicide: why do people do it?
The reason for suicide is something non suicidal people are always questioning when they hear about someone killing themselves for one reason or another, but when looking deep into the minds of those who commit suicide, the picture becomes more clear and it seems as if we can relate to their struggles just on a different level. The reason for child suicide differs from teen suicide which differs from college student suicide because they are all at different stages in their lives and have different problems in front of them that grow as they get older. Most children commit suicide because of issues at home, teenagers because of social issues, and college students because of school issues, each level getting progressively worse and also easier to relate to.
It is hard to imagine the reasons in which children decide to take their own lives, but these reasons could help people, mostly parents, find out what is going on in a child’s mind that would lead them to suicide. One reason a child commits suicide is so they could be with a dead parent or dead pet they were very close to. “Phyllis said that she thought sugar would ‘burn her insides out’ so that she could go to heaven to visit her mother” (Horn 18). The problem with this, however, is that children are too young to realize how permanent death really is and research shows that young children think they could die, visit their loved ones, and come back to Earth like they see in their favorite cartoons. Another reason children commit suicide is to escape their abusive parents or because of the lack of love received from their parents. “15 to 20 percent of the children who take overdoses of drugs are struggling with feelings of not being loved” (Horn 19). Children may also overdose on a household medicine just to scare their parents so much that the parents will start taking better care of them, but they instead end up dead because they took too many pills and could not be saved in time. The final critical reason for child suicide seems to be a bit out of our hands because some children who are born from a sick mother or who had a traumatic birth are at a greater risk of committing suicide than anyone else. It would appear that maybe Mother Nature, as one researcher states, had intended for these saved babies to have died at birth and because they were saved, they die at a younger age to keep the balance in nature.
“Unhappiness at home, loss of a near relative or close friend, failure to achieve in scholarship or athletics, disappointment in love, confusion about one’s sex role and concern over health” (Snider 42) are most of the factors that teenagers use as excuses for killing themselves when all these reasons are unnecessary for committing the permanent act of suicide. Another reason for teen suicide also seems to be out of our control because some of them have mental problems and go crazy one day and commit suicide. There are many different mental disorders that can cause people to fall to suicide, but schizophrenia is one of the more severe disorders. “Margaret Ray was mentally ill and, according to her mother, was suffering from delusions caused by schizophrenia” (Jerome 127). This young woman was in love with a famous celebrity and killed herself when she finally realized that the man did not love her back and because of her disease, she killed herself thinking that there was nothing else worth living for. The final problem that can influence many teenagers because of how popular it is to that age group is drugs. Hardcore drugs and alcohol can lead to an overdose that can lead to teen suicide because teens do not know when to stop, but another factor that teens do not seem to notice is that drugs and alcohol are depressants. “Some drugs, such as alcohol, act as depressants and cautioned to contrary popular belief, stimulants can also induce depression…’Many people react by experiencing depression. They can experience suicidal feelings and may in fact act them out’” (“Drug us contributes to teen suicide” 23). It is sometimes hard to tell if the death from overdose was intentional or not, but it is a very easy way for suicidal teenagers to kill themselves.
Students are the final group that commits suicide because of problems they had that could have been solved but were instead ended by suicide. One reason that everyone can relate to is how much stress college students have because of how hard and how demanding college is. This stress can cause some students to become suicidal because they feel that college is too hard for them but the demands made on them by society and their family causes them to commit suicide rather than be seen as a failure. “The peak period for college suicides appears to be the first six weeks of the semester” (“Student Suicides” 45). This fact is very depressing because there are no finals or term papers due during the first six weeks of college and there is still time to drop out without failing but some people just get so wound up and over stressed already that they commit suicide thinking they will never be able to deal with college. Another factor that research shows that causes student suicide is when a student gets lower grades than what they wanted or were supposed to get. “Up to 15% of alcoholics commit suicide” (Pahl 63). Because of this factor, students who drink too much can easily become alcoholics, which can help lead them to suicide.
These reasons of suicide clearly range from silly to almost understandable, but they are all issues that could have been solved by talking to someone, trying to make new friends, or just taking a step back to smell the roses and enjoy life for a little bit. It is easy to see why college students are under so much pressure and crack from it because our culture over the years has been very demanding about young adults going to college and doing well and getting a good career after they graduate. The problems found in children and teenagers are a bit further away from cultural pressures but can all still lead back to what is going on in our culture and can clearly cause a ripple effect that can lead to the tragic death of those too young to die.
IM ADDING PART THREE ALSO BECAUSE I WENT OVER MY LIMIT OF QUESTION ASKING FOR THE DAY…PLEASE READ AND TELL ME IF I AM BEING CONSISTANT CAUSE SOMETIMES I FEEL AS IF IM NOT…THANKS!

III. Suicide: How Do They Do It?
The means in which suicide is committed varies so much that it is almost shocking some of the ideas people come up with when killing themselves. The level of severity grows as the suicidal person becomes older and older because they are learning more and watching more movies and gather all these more efficient ways of killing themselves to become more successful in the long run. These means of suicide range from something small like running into traffic or jumping off a two story building to blowing your head off with a gun or standing in front of an oncoming train and all these means of suicide help the person accomplish what they were trying to do, end their life or get someone’s attention.
The big question on everyone’s mind when it comes to child suicide is how
do they accomplish it when they only know a very small amount? One way children commit suicide is by overdosing on their parent’s medicine or on aspirin. Aspirin and medicine seems to be very logical because children learn from their parents that when they do not feel good to take medicine to make the pain go away. Maybe the children who have died this way thought that by taking more medicine, they would feel better with each pill. “Six-year-old Donald, who was brought to the emergency room after eating a bottle of pills” (Horn 18) shows us just how old these children how who are committing these attempts at suicide but also that Donald’s parents most likely were the ones to bring him to the ER, causing an emotional stir that Donald was probably looking for from them. Another substance that research has shown that has helped children commit suicide are normal household products, like bleach, that have toxins in them and when children consume too much, they will most likely die.
Household products that contain these deadly toxins have probably helped many children achieve suicide because they are so easy to get and they are so toxic that surely any bottle of a toxic substance would kill them immediately. One such child, Timmy, had attempted suicide a number of times and failed each time because he was always saved, except when “Timmy drank household bleach and made his last trip to the hospital” (Horn 19) showing just how deadly these household toxins can really be to children. Children have however tried other methods of killing themselves. ”Most had tried to kill themselves more than once, typically by taking household or prescription drugs, deliberately running into traffic or jumping off dangerously high places” (Bridgwater 17). It is sad to know that children who are so young and innocent are able to find successful ways in which to kill themselves. It is strange too because it is hard to imagine where these kids get these idea of how to kill themselves
without even fully understanding the concept of death.
Teenagers is another young group of people who have found ways in which to kill themselves, they are, however, more aggressive means of suicide then that of the children. One of the more violent and very successful ways teens kill themselves is with firearms. Guns are the most efficient way to commit suicide because no one lives when they put a bullet in their head. “A simple precaution is to remove the means of self-destruction, like firearms and drugs” (“Suicide Among Teenagers” 42). This may not stop the more desperate of suicidal teenagers, however, because teens know how deadly guns are and if they really want to kill themselves they will find a way to get their hands on a gun. Drugs have also been very successful in helping teens commit suicide. The big problem with drugs is that they are very easy for someone to get their hands on. “Almost one-third of all suicides are related to drug use, according to Dr. Michael Cohn”
(“Drug use contributes to teen suicide” 23). Whether it is acid, ecstasy, or even regular medicine that can be bought from the local drug store, teens know that too much of any drug can kill them and it is ridiculous how easy it is for them to get drugs.
Students are the final group to look at and they have come up with every way possible to go about killing themselves. From something as basic as a drug overdose to a more horrific and mutilating death, college students are the most successful suicides because they have the means and the brains to do it. When looking at student suicides, there is a great difference between the way men kill themselves and the way women kill themselves. “The higher rate of successful suicide for men is related to the methods they use, such as firearms, hanging, or jumping from high places. Women are more likely to take and overdose of drugs or a poison, but they are beginning to use firearms more often” (Pahl 63). The worst part about student suicides
is that because college students know more than adolescents and because of the many horror films most of them have seen, some of them have very horrific and unthinkable means of suicide. However, research shows that some of these torturous suicides can also be caused by a mentally ill person with a delusional brain. “Ray ended her misery at age 46, kneeling before an oncoming coal train in a remote Colorado valley on October 5, 1998” (Jerome 128). This is a very gruesome way of killing one self but because of her mental illness, she saw it as the only way to kill her self, showing even more how painful and traumatic the suicides become as the suicidals become older.
These many different ways of committing suicide is shocking to think about because as the culture has become more violent, so have the means of killing ones self as these means become more easily accessible. These people who have decided to take their lives by overdosing on drugs or by shooting themselves in the head grew
into a new level of horrific death as they got older, entering a more gruesome form of killing themselves. This poor people who could not deal with the struggles of life but could deal with putting a bullet in their head must have had, or thought they had, a pretty awful life that would remain ever miserable because it takes a lot to take a gun to your head, pull the trigger, and hear the bullet rush down the barrel into your head, forever ending a life that was to horrible to deal with.

I can see you feel strongly about this unfortunate event…but i can’t see that you’re being overly consistant..i can tell you did a great job though.

I know that too much Adderall (ADD medicine) will speed up your heart way too much and can cause heart attacks when you take way too much.

EDIT: I actually didn’t read the question at all.

Why is there so many selfish people?

My best friend overdosed on booze and pills, not thinking about the pain and suffering she was causing her three kids! I am not upset she did it I am upset that she did it in her household with her kids being at home. What would of drove her to take such actions? Was it her husband? Or just life in general?

your friend was either scared or in a lot of pain.
at any rate, she was in a place where she felt it would NEVER get better. she may have even thought she was doing her children and friends and fgammily a favor.

i know – you can’t really see that. but many people who OD want to get away from the pain so badly.

Geeta Dutt – Waqt Ne Kiya – Kaagaz Ke Phool [1959]

0 Geeta Dutt Waqt Ne Kiya Kaagaz Ke Phool [1959]Kaagaz Ke Phool, (Hindi: कागज़ के फूल; translit. Kaagaz Ke Phool), is a 1959 Hindi film produced and directed by Guru Dutt, who also played the lead role in the film.

The film was a box office disaster of its time but was later resurrected as a world cinema cult classic in the 1980s. The film’s music was composed by S. D. Burman and the notable lyrics were written by Kaifi Azmi, giving hits like Waqt ne Kiya Kya Haseen Situm, sung by Geeta Dutt.

In the 2002 Sight & Sound critics’ and directors’ poll, Kaagaz Ke Phool was ranked at #160 among the greatest films of all time…………..

Many claim that the film is semi-autobiographical of Guru Dutt and that he portrayed his angst in the movie. At the time of production of the film, Guru Dutt’s marriage to Geeta Dutt was under strain due to his liking for Waheeda Rehman. This was openly known causing Guru Dutt’s personal life to resemble that of the protagonist in the movie. However, the forecast of his own (Guru Dutt’s) death, to parallel the sad and imminent death of the protagonist in the film, is debatable.

Another explanation for the inspiration is Guru Dutt’s association with Gyan Mukherjee, the famous 1940s director whose Qismet (1941) had made him into a household name. The life and subsequent failures of Mukherjee, whom Guru Dutt had joined in 1950, influenced him deeply. Many think that Kaghaz ke Phool was based on Gyan Mukherjee’s life and failures, as Guru Dutt’s previous film Pyaasa had been dedicated to him………..

The most popular song of the film is the deeply emotional “Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Situm; Tum Rahein Na Tum, Hum Rahein Na Hum”. Soulfully tuned by the S. D. Burman, this song was brought to fruition by the pain-lashed voice of Geeta Dutt to make it the perfect theme song for a lost season of grace. Many singers, including Lata Mangeshkar, have tried unsuccessfully to re-create the same magic as Geeta Dutt………..

Geetā Dutt (Born Geetā Ghosh Roy Chowdhuri) [November 23, 1930 July 20, 1972] was a prominent Indian playback singer in Hindi movies in the 1950s and 60s, and also a singer of modern Bengali songs.

Initially, Geeta was a singer known for singing bhajans and sad songs, but her renderings of composer S. D. Burman’s jazzy musical scores in Bāzi in 1951 demonstrated a new facet of Geeta’s singing. The sexiness in her voice and her easy adaptation to “western” tunes. From then on in the 1950s, Geeta was people’s first choice for singing seductive songs and providing song accompaniments in dance clubs.

S.D. Burman recognized the magic in Geeta’s voice through her songs in “Do Bhāi”. He effectively used the Bengali lilt in her voice in movies like Devdās (1955) and Pyāsā (1957). The song “Aaj Saajan Mohe Ang Lagaa Lo” in “Pyasa” is a prime example of a Bengali keertan being presented in its Hindi version.

During Geeta’s recording of songs for the movie Baazi, she met the movie’s young and upcoming director, Guru Dutt. Their romance culminated in marriage on May 26, 1953….

In 1964, Guru Dutt died from a combination of alcohol and an overdose of sleeping pills. (His death was widely perceived as a suicide following two earlier attempts) Geeta then suffered a serious nervous breakdown, and also ran into financial problems. She tried to resume her singing career, cutting discs at Durgā Pujā, and giving stage shows…………….

Geeta died of cirrhosis of the liver on July 20, 1972.

Overdose on tylenol? Is it possible to do it quickly this way?

ok. so i have nothing left to live for, etc etc. boring cliches.

Im really sick of living, but the only thing i have access to is tylenol, and some other household drugs, in my drug cabinet.

i tried to buy a razor to slit my wrists, but the damned sales clerk wouldn’t sell them to me. I digress.

My question is, how much of tylenol or other drugs would i have to take in order to kill myself? and what kind of sleeping aids will kill you? thanks.

please dont give the age old "dont do it." if you do, i will include you into my suicide note.

Well. I think you shouldn’t do it but… Tylenol isn’t the best way out. All it does is ruin your liver. You may not even die and if you do it will be slow and painful . Carbon Monoxide is easiest and most efficient.
