Large doses of vitamin C reduce cravings for drugs & alcohol, NOT naltrexone Joan Mathews-Larson PhD

0 Large doses of vitamin C reduce cravings for drugs & alcohol, NOT naltrexone Joan Mathews Larson PhDhttp://fatnews.com/ Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com.

Joan Mathews Larson PhD is the author of “7 Weeks to Sobriety” and “Depression-Free Naturally”.

She has been treating people for drug and alcohol problems with nutritional therapies since 1980.

She found that just about everyone who walked through their door had anxiety and depression, so she started treating that as well.

She points out that drug and alcohol problems are the result of biochemical glitches that cannot be solved with Talk Therapy such as Alcoholic Anonymous.

This video clips shows a dramatic Before and After picture of a woman, Mary, who had been treated for 14 years with psychiatric drugs such as antidepressants, and had spent time in psychiatric wards and tried Talk Therapy, but it had failed.

The amazing After picture shows Mary 6 months after she had gone through Dr. Larson’s treatment center.

74% of alcoholic patients who came through her clinic were still sober and emotionally stable 3.5 years later compared to only 5-7% of people trying to treat their alcohol problems with Talk Therapy such as Alcoholic Anonymous.

Talk therapy programs such as 12-Step Programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) cannot possibly fix biochemical problems that cause anxiety and depression as well as drug and alcohol problems (alcoholism).

The only way to fix these problems is with nutritional repair.

The drug companies / pharmaceutical companies want to give psychiatric drugs such as antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs to people with drug and alcohol problems / drug addicts and alcoholics.

In this video clip she notes that drug and alcohol treatment centers give drugs like naltrexone and Ritalin to patients, but notes that large doses of vitamin C (ascorbic acid, ascorbate) fills the opiate sites and pushes the drugs and alcohol out of these sites and helps people recover.

    @larryshobbs Yes …
@larryshobbs Yes biochemical individuality. Probably why the pharmaceudical companies don’t go this route, very time consuming, costing them money, but also very beneficial for the patient in getting them truly healthy, again no great if you want to sell drugs.:-/

    Something that …
Something that seems to have been overlooked by nearly everyone is that famous American biochemist, Roger Williams, PhD, who was a friend of Nobel Prize-winning chemist, Linus Pauling, said that research found that some infants need 8-40 times as much vitamin B6 as others.

    He called this Biochemical Individuality.

He did studies & found that even “identical” twins are NOT identical in the amount of each amino acid they excreted, and that each person has unique nutritional needs.

    There definetely is …
There definetely is an underlying biochemical ‘glitch’ with most people these days. I believe EVERYONE can benefit from vitamins and minerals and herbs. Most RDA’s are pointless in my view. I very much hope in the future Joan’s treatment is the norm and drugging is no more.

    Just to confirm …
Just to confirm somewhat what Joan is saying with regards to vitamin C, i reduced my feelings of mental lethargy, attention disorder and 15 years of depression and just generally feeling miserable most of the time, with an immediate 6g dose of ascorbic acid (non gmo brand). I just can’t believe how simple a solution existed for my illness. I also think it is important to eat correctly and avoid processed foods and refined sugars which i have done for many years now but vit c was the one for me
